Introudction of DST Slip Joint

The Round Mandrel Slip Joints are designed in full bore type which are the APR Tools for the well testing operation. The slip joints are available to move without allowing the movement to disturb the placement of downhole tools. So when the down hole temperature and pressure change, resulting in a change in the string length, it will use the slip joint to finish the opertion. If required to increase
the travel length, the multiple Slip Joints can be used in the hole. And the slip joint is hydraulically balanced and is insensitive to tubing pressure.

Characteristics of the Round Mandrel Slip Joint

* The mandrel slip joint has 4 3/4-in.drill collar profile on top, that is easy for handling with the rig elevators and slips
* When collapsed and locked, full tensile rating of slip joint will be maintained
* The slip joint can be locked in the closed position for handling, taht can reduce the risk of damage to the lifting/sealing mandrel
* The slip joint can be unlocked before it is run into the hole.
* String can be picked up with the slip joint locked;
• Without unseating the packer, the slip joint provides free travel in the string to reciprocate tools
