Introduction of VR Safety Joint

The VR Safety joint is the tool of the DST working string used for the openhole well testing service. The VR safety joint is run in hole above the packer assembly to ensure that a minimum number of tools are left in the hole if it becomes necessary to release the safety joint. The bypass of the VR joint acts as an auxiliary to the Hydro spring tester bypass to allow fluid to pass though the packer while the work string is being pulled out of the hole.
