Oil Well Slick Line Stem Weight Bar Wireline Tool String Sinker Bar
The Wireline Stem is a weight bar in wireline tool string, it is
also called sinker bar. The wireline stem weight bar is used to add
weight to the wireline tool string to overcome stuffing-box packing friction and well pressure on the
cross-sectional area of the wireline and the wireline stem allows the easy descent of the tool string. It is also used to
increase the effectiveness of jarring operations. The stem is cylindrical with fishing neck and pin connection (or
QRJ pin) on the top and with box connection (or QRJ box) on the
bottom.
